Hi All,

After running FW for being a small laaitie starting off with gold fish and ending with high tech planted aquariums and cichlids tanks i never thought i would actually own a marine setup.

I was always mesmerized by marine tanks and would get lost by starring at them in shops and restaurants, thinking i wish i can also own one, one day.

My buddy @Darren H got a TL550 marine and from there i was hooked and set on getting one.
By luck i was offered a 4ft marine tank that needed some attention.
The whole setup was to good to pass by and i took the plunge. From there the rest is history...

I started off with th 4ft tank with custom sump. Whole setup was pushing about 440L.
It came with some live rock and 3 fish. (Sailfin tang, damsel and regal tang)

Gave the tank and sump a good clean and did some big water changes as the NO3 was sky high.
Got a DIY LED unit from Improved living and bough some extra bits and bobs in terms of hardware.

Then i slowly introduced corals to the tank staring with the easy stuff.

Almost a year later and i decided to change things up. This is where that bug is coming into play

Now im running a 1000x600x400 display tank with 800x450x450 sump.
Bought the main tank and built the sump and cabinet.
Bought another marine tank from a guy in George purely just for the coral, fish and equipment that came with it.
Sold that tank and stand the very next day and added all the stuff to my new tank.
