Morning people. This tank might be reborn soon, as a Jelly tank. My missus is crazy about jellies and I have this tank chilling, it can easily be converted into a jellyfish friendly tank.

Plans will be multicoloured led strips for lighting (not strong enough for algae to grow) and one or 2 weak powerheads or submersible pumps.

As for water, it will be the water changed water from my 1.3m tank. Simple enough, running costs will be next to nothing as there wont be a heater or any substantial lighting.

Jellyfish tanks ain't as easy as u make it seem lol.. and imo a tl550 is way to small.. also where will u aquire them from... I've researched this option a few yrs back with no luck.. maybe things changed .. Please keep us posted.. shud be very interesting

Completely, if you plan on permanently keeping them. I do not. They have very short life cycles and I will only be keeping 1 at a time.

also where will u aquire them from

Nope, its going to happen but not anytime soon. My wife has not forgotten about it
