hi guys i have a 37 L aquaria tank at the moment
wana get a Boyu 550. lots guys tellin me its had to get service.an parts
from suplier is this true is it agud tank shud i go for it

aand doez it have a lite at back for a mini refuguim.pls advisethanks

HI. I just bought a second hand one, and naturally had to get parts as one or two things were broken....everything was ordered and in my hands in less than a week. My lps ordered from Daro Enterprises.....and I had no complaints......so I cant comment on bas service....I think it depends on the lps ordering the parts for you.

I have seen a thread where guys install a light for the refugium...looks easy enough!

Hey Dude,

Often you'll find that if you buy a BOYU 2nd hand it will have some kind of mod on it, it seems like the guys that buy these tank get em for the sole purpose of modifying them.

The standard pump is usually upgraded and if you lucky you'll get a protein skimmer with the deal as the standard skimmer doesnt really help.

Its a neat tank and yes you can do a light upgrade, you wont be dissapointed. From a 37L to a 130L, you making a good move
