Got my christmas present early this year, got a Boyu from my wife after eyeing one for months now.

Currently have a green chromis and a clown, as well as 2 nennies in there.

Planning on doing a diy led unit later on.

Where did you get the small fan from inside the tank?
Im looking for one for my nano.

It's a sunsun wavemaker, i got it with the tank, but they usually sell it at the fish shops for R120.

I have the one with the magnet which is better than the one with the sucker, cause the suckers tend to loose their grip then the pump falls.

Quick update with lots of pictures.

Got 2 Frogspawns, 1 hammer coral, finger leather, sinularus, green moon coral and xenia.

Other than that I will only add fish in December so I still have a while to decide. I would prefer to have a few pairs than schools because of the size of the tank.

If those were rock anemones (which they look like in the pic) I doubt if they are fish eaters. I have 3 in my tank, (darker red than yours, but similar size & shape) and they really are NO treat whatsoever to my fish

Regarding the Chromis, They generally prefer bit bigger tank, where 110l is really the minimum to keep them. Since the clowns and the Chromis are both in the damsel family, the chromis might show aggression towards the clowns, due to it's larger size.

If you do want to keep different damsel families in your system, rather opt for the small blue-yellowtail damsel, which stay small, and since it will be added after the clowns, it will not bother them at all.

Quick Update: Tank is doing great, corals are growing did my first frag today of the one frogspawn.
