Algae & chaeto

Hi guys I'm still busy with my sump I needed to know can I use chaeto in one chamber & algae scrubber in the other.

Generally, a scrubber will kill the chaeto if the scrubber is operating properly. The strong attachment, light, and air/water interface on the scrubber will have much higher photosynthesis and thus will pull nutrients away from the chaeto.
