Was the temperature of the new water the same as the tank? How big exactly was the water change? What containers did you use, maybe they are contaminated with something, chemicals or cleaning agents?

Yes, stomatella are good to have, you may struggle to see their shell as it's not like a normal snail shell, it's quite flat and oval.

What's the other side look like, does it have a shell?
