I would use some filter wool to polish the water when the water is clear put the pump off and remove the wool.

When I filled my 450L main display I put 2 bags in straight and the water went clear withing 2 hours. It even cleared up faster than aquaforest

With aquaforest my water was cloudy for like 3 days

Is it an all in one or sump system?
Just change out your filter sock or floss
The residue will get trapped in there
It will clear up after a while

Thanks for the reply.
I do have a sump but I'm finishing off the plumbing , so for now the water is just circulating around the main tank. I did crank up my heater to 35 deg but no luck still. Do you think it will come clear ? Or should I rather cut my losses and mix different salt ?
