sea water is actually about 1027kgs for 1000 litres. So the water weight alone would be around 2568 kgs. Then you have glass and the frame, and the rock and the sand will replace some of the water weight making it heavier. Then the sump water... This is all just in case you are wondering..

You are right and you are wrong........ The sand and rock would displace water so there would be less water in the tank. In terms of overall volume in the tank it would still sit around 2500kg
