In addition to my 4 choices, to buy equipment and livestock is lower on my list

Well I joined to learn about marine tanks, but now that I am a mod and part of the Masa illuminati my purpose is to ban people that 'annoy the mods'
I've been part of this community for so many years. I've met loads of reefers, newbies, old hands, and all those in between.
From Gauteng down to Cape Town.
Being able to help newbies is nice. To have some over my head discussions with guys like Irie on water parameters, wow.
And after all this time, still being able to learn new things.

I spend my life on watch lists... It was fun when I used to travel a lot.... I used to be like a customs and excise magnet... Even once had own personal police escort helping me carry fish boxes through customs.... I felt special...."to annoy the mods".....

There is a big difference between annoying a mod and tongue-in-cheek joking around.
If you put a smile on my face, even just a smirk, I got no problems.
Life got far too many problems than to make yours mine.
You really need to be an A-hole to get banned around here, or blatant disregard for the forum rules. Or a spammer.

We should start a ban lottery and randomly ban people for a week just to make things more interesting.

That said - I've come to realize over the past couple of years that the work the "modinati" does is really important....as so many other forums seem to have failed when members were left to do there own thing. So big ups to you guys.

Yeah, MASA wasn't my first choice forum at the start 10 years ago, but it slowly became first choice over last couple of years, partly because it was the only forum that stood the test of time.
