I also managed to find a skimmer small enough to fit into my tiny AIO... introducing the Ice Cap K1 NEO (smaller than the NANO). Seems to be doing its job very well so far!

Second RO membrane and 2nd DI stage installed, unfortunatley the bracket I got for the 3rd prefilter stage is the wrong size... so I will have to do that another time!

Wow looking . Ì have also started another tank. After been away from reef keeping for a year. What fish do you have?
Hey @reef addict , at the moment only 1 fish. A Pink Streaked Wrasse (basically a minature less aggresive version of a sixline) this wrasse has been an absolute champion at totally decimating a serious flatworm infestation. A really amazing fish that I recommend to anybody that has a small nano tank.
I would definitely like to get another Banggai Cardinal soon though.

Here is my Nano tank. I am also looking at what I want to stock. Thinking Two Picasso clowns, tailspot blenny and possibly a mandarin. Also I am not using a skimmer, doing daily 1L water changes. Pink streaked wrasse never seen one. I am about to Google..

More than a year and a half since I last posted an update here... towards the end of 2023 I was the lucky recipient of about 10 days of no power. Unfortunately the tank took a MASSIVE hit with pretty much all of the hard corals not making it and a few of the softies succumbing as well. I kept the tank running nonetheless and it is still running to this day with whatever did survive. I think I will start building up the coral diversity again slowly.

In a few days this tank will be turning 4yrs old... it has been a really interesting journey, but I think it is time for a proper reboot! ... New thread loading!

Nano tanks for the win! Neat little cube tank you have there. Avatar chalice looking :m41: What plans do you have for the reboot.

I'm not 100% sure yet... but there are a few things I would like to change.... rockscape, as well as some hardware changes... that Avatar chalice outgrows the tank every few months!

Been an interesting journey - Hope the sequel is a cracker. I have also been out of the hobby for about 10 years since my 2M reef and 600 cube. Now I have started a 450 cube that is cycling. But the Nano experience is new to me.
