I have a bunch of freshwater tanks and a 45cm marine cube that's been running a couple of months. I'm moving my Cichlids to another tank, so converting this 90x45x45cm to a marine tank. I'm going to run LED and T5s, and see if I can grow some SPS. I'm using Marco rock and Seacheck sand that's been cycling for a couple of months with Aquaforest Life Source and converted Mollies..

Water in. The rock and sand has been cycling for a couple of months. I added some mollies to keep the cycle going. Does anyone have experience with using lava rock in a reef tank? I see people are afraid of leaching, but others recommend it.(bonus pic of my 45cm cube in the reflection)

I have the canister on now. I also got a Jabao MOW 22 wave maked, which is complely oversized for the tank. I'm running it on 30% on random. The scape is less about aesthetics and more about me trying to cover the spots where the sand is flying off.
