Electrical and controls. Brain is the Profilux 3 with an SMS unit to for warning of problems.

Some other sump connections.

Down one floor is the water mixing and storage area, together with the quaranteen tanks.

It helps, but Mark is a very careful aquarist who makes sure that everything is as right as it can be for his tank's inhabitants.

This is the key to successful marine systems.

Will add some pics of his livestock and the tank up and running.

i have a similar unit and just want to know why you have opted for so much white blubs ? so you still get good color ?

Thanks Keith,
That is spot on.
Because this is a sps dominated tank, the aim is to get good growth and nice colour, number one, aswell as a nice effect with the cloud and thunderstorm simmulation.

That is why I like the diffirent colours that Giesemann offers, it gives a nice full spectrum of natural light.

The midday tubes helps to bump up the PAR (= growth).

It's a Sohal tang. But yes very pretty and will get better.

Can definately be a fighter. Doesn't like new additions esp. other tangs.


How's Adriaan. Last of the big posters on 8, and he's been on Masa since it began.
