Good Price for Glass?

What's a good price for 12mm glass???
I've been quoted R1200/sq m.

While we are on the subject, what should I be paying for 10mm and 6mm glass?

Trying to finalise my budget here.

10mm in east london ranges from R650 - R800 pm2 (RETAIL) as for 12 mm it is uncommon for down here so cannot really comment

It was a hell of a lot cheaper for me to buy my glass from Idol Marine, who bought it in from another glass company in Boksburg area, than for me to buy it directly from that same company. 8mm
Almost half price.

Rene turk, normally has good prices, I think I prices last year some time, 10mm in starfire, and it was R600-00 per SQ meter.

5mm R170.00 p/sqm

You can get 12mm for about R950 and 10mm - R650. That's the cheapest I've seen around here in DBN. I'll be building a new tank soon in 12mm as wellWhat tank are you planning on building?

Main tank is 1950x700x700. - 12mm
sump will be 1500x500x500. - 10mm (maybe 6mm sides)
