Great tank to have, coming on nicely. You mist get yourself a small regal tang,he will enjoy that green algae. Mine was big as my thump nail, scared he will go threw overflow grit. You see him grow every day.

I am very new to this hobby. Only had the setup 2 months.
I used to run the lights constantly which caused the algae.
I have cut down the lights and have setup the timer. The algae has been drastically reduced.

Mr Smith, we all started from beginners, do believe me we all still learn every day, and still do mistake.
Please post some pics of that shrimp/goby combo you have. Great relationship.
Looks great, but i prefer a clean back screen, it makes big difference in the look

Thats true, but there are plenty of foods on live rocks and other places for snails,
By clean background i don't mean cleaning it every week, i usually clean once every 3-4 month to get the black color out , i wasn't doing it at the beginning but when i did it, everything stands out much better
