Replacement pump ts1 reeftek

Anyone done a mod or something to make a ts1 work ? Any tips , ideas welcome

I used a DC2000 pump before, and it worked out OK. Used the normal impeller. Would have been better with a meshwheel, or a bigger DC3000.

Update , so i got a sp2000 , venturi of a ts2 , had to mod the air intake but seems to be working

Looks great but thats insane for such a small pump

That is the pump brand for the newer reef octopus

Do not know the new ones , old ones skimmed great but from the 5 i had it either nearly shocks you to death or just stops and never goes on again

then to prevent shocks, go for DC , that why I always use external skimmers (My Preference) and everything else is DC,
