Hi All. My name is Yosef.

I have had many fresh water tanks over the past 16 years but have finally taken the first step to purchase a marine tank (a dream I have always had).

I have recently purchased a secondhand 4 foot tank with live rock, 2 clown fish, an angel fish and a hermit crab.

I have decided to start the tank from scratch. I am having the entire tank and rocks cleaned, putting in new sand and letting the tank run from scratch to mature.

I am extremely excited but at the same time overwhelmed.

I will be browsing the forums and purchasing books to get up to speed but would also appreciate any tips and advice.

Once my tank is up and running, I will post pics!

Welcome! It's a great hobby, when you restart where are you going to keep the livestock?
