Who is all from Port Elizabeth

I'm interested ..as always
Call on me when you need a hand ...whatever comes to mind regarding AMAS resurrection

OK, most interest is on the other forum.
Rogan is busy growing out 11 Banggais, must be around 50 days old now.

It's in the way that you do it..

Steve, it's just the way you post it.
Surely you will find more interest, and if someone is already on 2 forums, they won't register interest on both ( is what I think)

If it was a standalone sort of thread without a link to other threads/other forums
It wont really show up.

So maybe ask masa Mod/Admin crew to rename it?
Or post up in an area with more traffic?

eg.
" Resurrecting SA's OLDEST Marine Only Fish Club"
is just a better phrased option.

Then you can selectively enquire about Eastern Cape, and specifically Port Elizabeth based enthusiasts..
Just a suggestion to lend weight, to an always good cause!;)

Im waiting for Banggaii and Clowns, send some up to me already!!!

Hi Liaquat

Unfortunately Rogan is suddenly down to six, it looks like some decided to choke on flake food. He will have to keep them as broodstock. He has about 300 ocellaris eggs waiting to hatch, there were about 1000, but the parents have probably eaten some. He is set up quite well with rotifer and phyto.

Took your advice on the thread.

When are you visiting PE again?

Back to THE BAY

Hi Steve, I foresee a few days in PE..sometime between now and early Sept

Hope to see you then, David (ex Pet Boutique) is now in CT and was trying to get hold of you.
I will start trying to get things in motion next week with AMAS.

I have spoken to a few old members over the weekend, I need email addresses to send out the last two newsletters. Once we have the contact details I think organising a meeting to discuss the formation of the new committee, etc.

I think the first meeting could be at Bayworld possibly, maybe showing the Dolphin transport DVD and ?? Rogan doing a short demo on decapsulating brine shrimp eggs then a discussion to sort out the way forward for the club. This is just a suggestion.

Okay, unless others convince me otherwise I am thinking along the lines of trying to have the first meeting possibly around the second weekend of September at Bayworld or at the Diaz club if I can arrange it somewhere in the first two weeks of September. Any preferences, suggestions, etc.
I am thinking that if it is held at Bayworld it would be during the day and either a Saturday afternoon or on Sunday. If it is at the Diaz club (if I can arrange it), then there is the advantage/disadvantage of a bar (depending on your point of veiw). Other suggestions for venues, dates are welcome.

Hi
I am definately very keen and excited to be a member of the club. I went to a couple of meetings many years ago as a youngster. PLease count me in. Steve, can you also please send me the details of the meeting when it is organised.

I am in the process of my in-wall set-up which I have been busy building for a few months now. Will start a thread on it when I am closer to putting water in it.

Thanks guys, glad to here that the PE reefers could be getting together.

OK, my place Friday 3rd September from 17:30 on. Discussion/social meeting, I can light a fire, not a meeting to look at a Gem of a tank, but to put together an interim plan and team to get AMAS running again. No pressure on anyone to stay longer than they want to and those that want to socialise can do. Not finalised and other suggestions are welcome.
