My white lights seem to drown out the blue. I want more of a blue tint to tank, not the crisp white.

Any ideas?

Go for ATI Aquablue Special

List your colours you currently have

Im running the following. All ATI, Purple Plus, Aquablue Special, True Actinic and Blue Plus

I have 5 x Aqua White and 3 x Actinic. Aquaria standard tubes. When just actinics are on the blue is very strong. Soon as you put on white it kills the blue. I even removed another white. I think may need to change brand.

Yes can be time to change them...

How old are the tubes?

Remove the purple plus and it will take on a much more blue appearance , my corals love the purple plus globe I'm currently running one white one purple plus , one geissman (blue)and one aqua blue special.
I start the day off with the blue lights and then @11oclock the white and purple plus come on untill 4pm
And then I end the day off with the blue lights again.
Of course this is very difficult wen all my timers (old mechanicle ones) keep loosing time thank to eskom:eek:

Ok change 1 to blue

Haha yeah i acctually went onto youtube there is a 2 part video showing there bulbs and popular combinations
