So I bought this 800L from a shop i was working at a year ago.. (With my first salery) The guy knew somthing I didn`t.. Atleast it created a huge and excitng challange! After a month or so in the garage with over 30 malawi`s.. It cracked.. With me 2 weeks away from home and only my totaly unable to do anything right friend:25:So here I go.. I`ll post pics as i go!

So here is a pic of the tank the day I got it.. And yes.. The wood work is totally scraped.. So everything went...

very nice size, hectic start lol. good luck

So I started of by cuting loose the pannels and started to clean away all those white kalk water marks. I used windowleen but it didn`t work very good.. So I used white spirit vinegar.. Left it for 5min to settle and started to scrape with a razor. The pieces of glass you see is only the braces

Rather use an old steel measuring tape to cut it. It is thinner than the blade. But be careful as it can slice your hands open without you realizing. Only to see blood spots everywhere.

Sooooo... DON`T DON`T DON`T DON`T use a sharp razor to cut.. It can shatter and cut open your face like it just did....:death:

Just to show you the extent of a shatering razor blade.. i decided to brake off the bottom braces instead of reusing them.. it took me 2 days just to get the one piece loose and that was about 600mm.. So ya.. It seems I cant post that pic today... but ill try again tomorow..

Ouch... Go for the tape next time..
Or you can turn the other cheek as well for symmetrical war decorations...

Reefing stays a dangerous hobby, almost up there with "deadliest catch"...lol

Lol, that only applies to guys with triggerfish & the ones who flood their living rooms occasionally...
