I went to a local beach on Friday ans had a fantastic day. The weather was absolutely fantastic and the water as clean and can be. I would like to share some photos with you.

We saw some very nice fish and I did not have a net with me. The really nice ones I could not take photos of because I was worried of getting the camera wet. I did take some of the ones in the bigger pools though.

The photo is not very clear but this one looked like a Mandarin to me.(If I say it looks like a Mandarin please don't think it is one. I am useless with names.)

About 13km north of StLucia. And those rockpools must have some interesting live hiding everywhere.

Just a question, is that protected area. Or can you collect specimens with a valid permit?

Wow [IMG][IMG] some awesome rockpools you guys have in KZN, seeing all those coral & fish you guys are truly lucky [IMG] most of the time I just find klip vissies, glass shrimp, nennies, urchins, sea slugs, stars, crabs & octopus & maybe abalone in our rockpools but no coral or other fish besides klip vissies. Mmmmm Really jealous of you guys in KZN
