I have a zoa frag that's not looking too good the polyps are staying closed & the one polyp has started to turn black.

    Has anyone experienced this?

Without seeing a pic it is hard to confirm but I am almost certain it is a bacterial infection
My advise is to take it out ASAP and dip it and then keep it in quarantine
Once it spreads you can kiss your Zoas good bye (if it is what I am thinking of) the name will come to me know

Not really unless he has noticed little white or yellow spots on the colony

Have you added carbon lately or increased your skimming or changed your lights recently?
