Zoas colour morph

    This is a first for me but after a few years my one colony started morphing.

    I think its the water conditions and lighting. I also have the same zoas but had a darker green rim in my cube and now in my new tank it's got the light green almost lime rim

    Nutrients and lights. I have two tanks and the same zoas look different in each tank.

    Also im sure certain trace elements will affect colour.

    Just to add....Im not 100% but from past experience, Im judging this on your pictures only, But those zoas are not liking your nutrient conditions or lighting. Possibly going into recession....

    The slightly bleached pale skirts and their shrunken less full appearance is a sign of that.

    @Parraman might just be those potent Pacific Sun of yours that you recently put ovrr your tank that triggered them into colour change. Did you run Pacific sun in acclimation mode?

    My zoas grows like weeds.
    Probably the new lights that caused it.
    And remember that those are new frags.
