how much of flow do you have over them ?

i suggest putting them in an area with a little more flow, this might help the slime to remove itslef from the coral

    Hi Jaques

I also have got the light blue ones and mine did the same, I'm leaving them in the tank for another day or so if they don't come right I'll rather take them out. Don't want to make all the other Zoa's sick. It's a pity they are stunning.

I got a green colony from Animalia. They also got this problem.
    But the others are OK.
I think they got damage with their ruff ride to his tank. I will check tonight, if not better, I will remove the few OK ones and chuck the rest.

Try a potassium permangeanate freshwater bath. Take some dechlorinated water and make it pink with PP and give the coral a five minute bath

    nope, 1 colony is goners.
When I took it out, it stank!. So it is dead. Got a few at one end that might surfive, maybe 3 or 5 heads. Kept that, and removed the rest of the rock and dead stuff. Have to wait and see.

Others looks OK, but not too happy. They are in the sump, with slow water flow so that they can attach to some LR. Under a 45w CFL. Is that enough. Previous group I did they same worked.

    Hi Riaan
You know my motto: within a month something happens - I replace, When in the area come and pick a replacement.

I am having the same problem at the moment with my blue ones - have cut out the dead/slimy parts and glued the nice ones to a rock. none of the others are doing that. Only the blue ones. Spoke to my supplier earlier on - he said that the blue ones travelled 8-10 hours longer - it is highly likely that it is travelling stress doing it.

Hi boendoe you've got a month - if anything happens you know where to get hold of me and collect another piece of zoa. It seems that it is only the blue ones affected as mine is also doing it - I have put all the blue ones in my quarantine tank to see what we could do - will keep you posted.

    I see double

The ones that went stinky are the green ones. The purple ones looks ok, although not all the pollups did open fully yet, some did. I'm just worried about the pink ones. They did not open fully yet. Sulking most properly to be back in your tank.
