is that the ZA1201-L? or just the za1201?

they are great little lights for smaller systems where softies are concerned, not really suitable for sps, but a few LPS to seem to fare okish under them as long as the tank isnt too deep.

Hows it yeah i am using 1 at the moment with the controller and everyrhing in my tank seems to be growing really well. Very good light for the price and what you get. Where did you buy it from.

I used this light on my tank, and had decent growth on my birds nest and pocillopora corals at the top of the rockwork and my branching hammer, which is at the bottom of the tank.
The Zoas and GSP get decent growth under the light. I recently upgraded the 1201 WiFi and the 1201 will move over to my smaller tank.
If you are able to get it, get the ZN1002 controller for your light, can adjust lighting to suit your needs and has time of day settings.

I have one of these. My tank is too deep for the light. I’ve had to move zoas up high to keep them happy. Can’t have anything at the bottom of the tank.
My plan is to get a new light for the display tank and then use the 1201 for a Chaeto refugium and dump the sand and rock out of the sump.

this is my tank running under 2x ZA1201
tank is 1000x600x600 and lights are suspended 30cm above the tank, I don't supplement the tank with anything other than kalkwasser.
