Hi there

Is anyone using the new Zetlight Lancia ZP4000 lights in a Juwel tank or other tank?

What is your experience with these lights?

Thanks.
Lourens

tagging along. I am interested in the as well, just unsure about color spectrum as it seems to only have white and blue lights. I am no expert on lighting so would appreciate some input regarding this.
LANCIA SERIES

Myself and lourensmocke both have juwel 450 tanks as well, so how many of these would we need.

Sorry for hijacking the thread lol

So... No life on the thread?.. Anyone try them out yet? Considering moving ballasts to side to add one ZP4000 in between the T5s. Or... Adding two zp4000 with two t5s

Hi,

Anyone with some experience with these growing Mixed corals? I just got a new tank that I'm wanting to start trying some corals. Dont know much yet but would like to add some anemones, zoa, mushrooms. my tank is 600Longx320deepx450high. Would a combo of these work? how would they rate between the ZA1201 and ufo ze8600?

Hoping to buy once for all future corals I want to try on this tank

Zp4000s are okay for softies they aren't the lights you should be looking for if you want to keep corals. The UFO series and Qmaven zetlights are the ones to be looking at T5 is also a good option if you on a budget but then again you have to replace the bulbs every 6-12 Months depending on usage time and if your fixture doesnt have cooling you can say it's safe to say every 6 Months

thanks, got a deal on a quad T5 so will start off with that. might add a ZP4000 later for some of the LED lighting affects.

If you going to add a LED unit later try aim for Violet or Royal blue to help those corals pop in colour. Or even just a Blue Led Bar @leslie hempel sells these they perfect to add to a T5 Unit.
