I'm back! Or at least I am trying to get back on track! :p

I am missing my tanks very much, both my Marine and my tropicals.

Finally settled into our new home here in France, I have visited a few stores near to were we stay and to be honest they have NOTHING like we have back in SA. The closest one to me is 30 minutes away and their stock is not impressive, unfriendly service and ridiculous prices!

At the moment I am trying to get my hands on a tank, nothing second hand here so will have to buy new. Stores don't have much when it come to Marine equipment so may have to get everything online one piece at the time as it's quite expensive. There are a few Online stores I can get from which is nice for equipment but for livestock I prefer to "see" and choose myself. They also don't sell RO water here so will have to make my own.

I'm looking at starting small here maybe about 150 ltrs for now.

Products are pretty much the same, Seachem, Red Sea etc only thing I noticed is no one stocks special blend.

That's all from me for now, it will have to be a long term project as it may take time for me to start up one step at a time.

Missing Cape Town, and all you nutty reefers!

    welcome back Yuma Girl.
Maybe buy a secondhand tank here in SA and ship it to France... I know @crispin done that, shipping it to Norway. But that was a big tank making it worthwhile due to the prices on glass in Norway.

    We not that bad...are we??

Good to see you posting again! Why not build the tank yourself? Glass for a 150l tank should be readily available

@459b , nah you guys r pretty cool, and very entertaining! As far as me buildings tank, no chance it's not my forte! Found a very good site where I can get stuff from Marinehome recifal Lyon Vénissieux - aquariophilie marine. they r about 3 hours drive from me so worth the drive as they seem to have some nice supplies :tt2: first thing on my list is to find the right tank now..... Checked out site and we thought live stock prices were hectic here in SA.
