Hey gents, I was wondering, what is your Top 5 Marine Products? If possible, also give a reason why. I think this might help others learn about products they didn't know before.

This is NOT a favorite fish or coral thread, and we are not "punting" business for any sponsor or bad mouth any products please!!!

Just give your Top 5 products and say why, even if this means you dig Bio Balls...;)

    Here's mine:

    1) Cyclop Eeze. This food makes my coral and fish super healthy and looking good and colorfull.
    2) Mineral Mud. The life that comes out of this, and the growth I get from macro's are great. It also supplements natural trace elements.
    3) Playsand. Cheap, looks nice and the best all round option for substrate and or DSB IMO.
    4) Dymax Wave Deflector. Absolutely ingenious device. Uses returnpump power, so no extra powerheads etc.
    5) Tunze pumps and controller. Because I am a tech junkie... Cant think that the coral and fish really care about powerheads recreating high and low tide, wave motion etc. to be honest, but still a cool range of products. Expensive though :(

    Here's mine:

    1) Vortech MP40W (Waves are cool)
    2) Seachem Reef Plus Amino Acids (Really makes corals grow faster)
    3) Calcium Reactor (Keeps my calcium, alkalinity and magnesium constant)
    4) SunSun Pumps (Cheap pump with massive dispersed flow)
    5) NP Reducing Bio-Pellets (If it works it will move to number 1)

Skimmer with BIG cup - so I can go away for 2-3 weeks without it overflowing.

    Playsand - cheap

Closed loop - No pumps to take out and clean every week or 2. Again I can go away for 2-3 weeks without worrying that powerheads blocks up and the flow eventually are so weak... And a lot less weekly maintenance.

Auto Top Up - No need to refill everyday, again, I can go away .... (heard this before?) Just need to ATU the RO drum...(next step)

Proper Syhon Break method. No worrying if sump will flood if Eiskom goes out. One that can not block, do not make bubbles, do not suck a lot of water back to sump.
