Hi everyone, thought that it would be a nice idea for a thread where you post a picture of where your aquarium began and where it is at its present state.

I'll start :

Nice idea! Your tank has come a long way! What is the time period between those pictures?
Will submit mine tomorrow (after my tank clean). :)

From This when I started - check out the powerhead.

Then I upgraded a year or so later.

to this again before I wanted to call it quits.

To this - sold all livestock but got cold feet before I sold my equipment. Then restarted AGAIN.

And now this is my tank today. Soft coral, LPS with loads of fish.

Hi Guys,

So Originally purchase my Juwel Rio 125 back in Feb 13, and as a Saltwater tank

Then we decided on moving so decided to shut down and convert to Freshwater which is easier to move March 14, and had my freshwater going till about 6 weeks ago...
An then got back in the game last week Thursday 9 July 2015...

Sorry for the multiple posts to come, but I can't post more than 1 pic at a time from my phone. This is the earliest pic I can find of my tank, it was already 8 months old by this time and had gone through several hardcore algae blooms after it first went through an 8 week period of no lights + chloroquine treatment.

Taken today after I fitted my refugium , still need to add the mud , rubble etc. Tank is also starting to look better but still a work in progress , just need to get rid of some nuisance algae etc and go from there

@Mr_Armani777 - very nice progress there. love the height you managed to get on the scape.
@ziguri - Looks great. very nice progress as well. Are you going to leave the tank at the bottom open? If so, what are you planning on putting in there? Very interesting. Will make an awesome Nano as well.

Thank you Charl_Stanhope

I love yours, was thinking of doing a similar aquascape to yours I still might change to do 2 x large islands with a center space like trench for flow... but will update when I decide or if I decide...
