    . . . you save the saltwater from the LFS livestock purchase,

    If you see no real difference between base rock and cinder blocks,

    If your sump is a trashcan, a used trashcan,

    If your grouper eats more leftovers than your dog,

    If you are still running a Big Mombasa or Seaclone skimmer,

    If you are opposed to vodka dosing on principle,

    If you snap phone pics of the fish books at the LFS,

    If you prefer used, one-eyed and traded-in fish, you might be Reefing on a Budget.

    If you know of some good indicators that someone is Reefing on a Budget, sound them off in the comments.

    If you drop 2L coke bottles filled with tap water in your sump/display tank to keep the water level up because you haven't bought RO from the LFS yet.

    if your display is a 10 year old (or older) ex bathwater tank. Using old 60L or 90L Daro tank you picked up from some relative as a sump.

    (sounds like my current setup :whistling:)
