Hey Guys! I'm thinking of upgrading my tanks lights to LED's. I'd like to know how much LED's do I need for a 63l SPS tank and how much will It cost me? Plug and play If possible.

That's a good deal. DIY might amount to the same thing if not more!

The unit I tested exceeds my expectations .... @mornewill posted pics of the unit above his tank aswell on the thread tl550 modz and it runs 19 leds 9x 10kwhite and 9 actinic + 1 royal blue moonlight ....slimmest unit I've seen so far besides the big boy toys like radion etc ... For its price, its a steal,no fans so less elec use and slimline aloy cassing ,tested @ running full for 8hrs straight and unit was still cool @ 54watt led power out.....

I really want to upgrade to LED lights but I'm a bit scared that the LED Light might not be bright enough coz I've seen some LED units designed for reef tanks not being very bright. Would It be possible to have LED's and still have the same effect as MH and VHO?

    I built my own led's.
In my opinion, The LED's far out perform my MH and t5 combo that I was running!

But you need to pay attention to what LED's are being used....

Hi vincent the solarmax are proven LED's like i said they are equivalent to a 150 MH

If you are not happy with the LED you may return for a full refund

Yep I agree. This will be a perfect unit at a good price.
Had it over my tank for a week. Its like more than double the brightness of the standard Tl550 lights.
