    Hi reefers

Not sure what this is but my yellow tang is about 8cm and it has turned white in colour. The fins are still yellow but the body is white. The fish is healthy eats well and i got him about 3years now. Any advice

Think he is trying to adapt to hes new family, the moonies... What are you feeding the guy?

I jnow Casper is changing back to yellow, its a full white Yellow tang that is starting to get its yellow colours now.

Try soaking the food with Seachem Vitality, it will help with the colour

is he like this all day or just in the mornings, this honestly looks like their "sleep" mode/colours or pyjamas.

As Ozzie says, your SG is too low. increase to a SG of 1.025 @ 25c

Tangs require a lot of veggies. Very clean rocks leave them nothing to graze on. Supplement with sea veggies or nori.

NOTE: Increase the SG slowly over a week or two.

I'm saying a poor diet is the reason.
Need to feed a bigger variety namely
    Nori and other sea weeds
Frozen foods like mysis, artemia, chopped mussel, shrimp, calimari
Vary the types of flake and pellets you feed as well - hilkari is one of the good brands
