i bought this pagoda last week. It has this yellow stuff growing on it. I tried scraping it off with a toothbrush but it just grows back. Ideas?

I have seen this on my pagoda as well, it looks like it is turning it's stomach out. There is a fancy term for this but it eludes me right now :p
If the coral is healthy with no signs of tissue recess, lack of polyp extention etc I would leave it for now.

these are mesenterial filaments it is what corals use to digest their food and also the turn their stomaches out when they feel threatened by other corals near by.. must be unhappy

Thanks for the feedback, this happened just after I got the coral. It has recede, so it must have finished acclimatising.
