    hey all,

I got some advice from pet store near me to say I must take out the two yellow belly damsils if I want to out other fish in my tank. He said they very tutorial creatures and they will kill the large fish once I put them in.

How true is this and should I take them out?

Ive got five and i only ever see all of them at ffeding time, they dont seem to bother the other inhabitants but they have picked on the smallest on in their group who now resides beside the wave box.... They seem to keep to themselves and only fight amongs them selves if one comes into anothers territory. I have not added any other fish so i cant say for sure if they will taunt a new addition. My tank is 1300 X 650 x 600 (h)

That true damsels are extremely territorial and will even take on fish bigger than them especially if they were introduced first

New all damsels are extremist. The blue yellow tail is mild. The yellow belly even milder. The Devil damsel, being slightly bigger than the blue yellow tail is a terrorist. But it also depends on the tank size and also can differ per individual fish.

On your tank size, do not add another damsel. Ocealaris clown maybe, or any other shape fish like blennies.

on 102L you can not add a lot of fish.

And as long as you do not add other damsels it would be OK

That depends on the fish size. Filtration capabilities. Oxygen levels
