depends on how big your system is, is there enough space for them both to teretorize?

Space will be issue, also make sure that you add them together and with lots of caves to hide in if neccesary. my scopa and yelow darts through the caves and dont swim as much as other sergeons but space is still a factor as they get bigger, if they like you say medium and large would say have at least 1.8 meter tank

Go for it! Scopas tends to be more agro but seeing your yellow is bigger and they will both be in unfamiliar territory, do it.

I had a Scopas and when I upgraded to my new tank I added a Yellow who was smaller than the Scopas. This was done in the middle of June and they have co-existed peacefully since.
