    Reef X-tra-X
Many synthetic reef salt blends on the market today contain all the major minerals found in natural seawater, but, lack the vitally important micro nutrients that are are vital for the survival of corals and other marine animals. Without these micro minerals, growth in corals and fish could become stunted and in severe cases it could result in death
Reef X-tra-X is a natural supplement , specifically developed to replace all micro minerals that have been utilized by corals and other marine animals. Made from 100% pure natural seawater, Reef X-tra-X contains all minerals that are vital to the survival of corals.

It also contains Vitamin-C and Amino Acids
    Elements to name a few:
Lithium, Beryllium, Boron, Carbon, Fluorine, Sodium, Chloride, Magnesium, Aluminum, Sulfur, Chlorine, Potassium, Calcium, Scandium, Titanium, Vanadium, Chromium, Manganese, Lanthanum, Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, Zinc, Gallium, Selenium, Bromine, Rubidium, Strontium, Yttrium, Zirconium, Niobium, Molybdenum, Technetium, Ruthenium, Palladium, Silver, Cadmium, Indium, Cesium, Barium, Praseodymium, Cerium, Iron, Neodymium, Samarium, Europium, Gadolinium, Terbium, Dysprosium, Holmium, Erbium, Thallium, Ytterbium, Lutetium, Tungsten, Rhenium, Iridium, Platinum, Gold, Lead, Bismuth

    How do you test?

My teacher taught me to never add to my tank what i could not test.

Does that mean we have a whole load of test kits coming out?

OMG! Contrary to popular belief, I actually have work to do!!! But this is just too damn tempting!!! Gotta love those scholarly articles....

I have not really read all of them, just glanced through them, but I suspect its all relevant.....

Just have to point out again that the claim on the product is that it contains all the minerals vital to corals, cannot fault that claim.....

Anyway, here are some extremely interesting links, both from hobbyist lit and the sceintific journals.....

Truth is, very few people on here are likely to click on the links, and even less will actually go and read it........ But then again, some of us will!

A quick question, do we need to turn the skimmer off when dosing? I would assume so as it contains amino acids etc but just want to be certain :)

nope no need to, but i am sure there are many reasons to turn off or keep on.
i add to the return section of my tank.

but yes keeping it off for 30-60min when adding anything will help

Lol Keith, would be nice to know, as I am not of the type to just buy and try and then see, I am also not close to a bottle to read the dosage instructions, and again, i am not of the type to buy a bottle just to read the label...... So yes, would like to have the "label" displayed here for all to see and then make ones mind up as to how much to use
