Wrasse ID

    Hi guys and gals,
    this is a wrasse that have had for 3 weeks now, and i wonder if anybody can tell the species and sex of this specimen?

    I thought it was a vroliks wrasse but the top black spots are not like the vroliks

    You think so taahir? The christmass, melanurus and vroliks look so alike that its so hard to decide, and google pics dont help much either, they are all mixed up!

    Have a look at an Ornate leopard wrasse. M.Ornatus.

    Thats even closer, could it be between genders causimg the weird coloring?

    I found it on fishbase. Its a indonesian variant of the argus wrasse! Thanks everyone
