Wrasse ID please

    Looks like it could be a Diana's hogfish

    That was my first guess as well, the markings ain't really the same though. Very similar.
    Thanks. Maybe they will change as he grown, he is still very small.

    Hmmmm I have the same fish, and I was told it is a possum wrasse???
    However after checking online now, you Sir are correct it is indeed a Dianas hogfish.. Thank you

    That's quite a mistake. According to liveaquaria this fish grows to 10" and is aggressive. Possum Wrasse grows to only 2 or 3", and is peaceful.

    Haha did will have to get to his full size first before he can make a dent from the panfry
