    Hi guys

    Got a WP25 yesterday thanks @brentv.

Great pump I am blown away, so much more powerful than my Tunze 6095s.

Can anyone help a bit on what the best setting it is to have on the pump and maybe give some info on the different settings.

Also on how the sensor works as it seems to override everything once you put it in.

For the feed mode do you have to hold the button in or just press once.

Andre @reEfaquatics maybe you could advise more.

not sure what controller you have, is it the one with S1-S3?
The sensor overrides when it gets dark, like night/sleep mode.
Feed mode is 1 press and long press to end feed mode.

Also how far must the sensor be from your light set up?

Do not put the sensor under your lights. It gets damaged by too strong lights. Not sure if the company had fixed that issue yet.

The sensor has no relation to your tank lighting - it works on ambient light - hence why this has become a problem.
Works of the ambient light in the room and switches to night mode.

S1-S3 is intensity of ONLY W1

    Hope this helps !

My controller also has w2,W3 as well as an Else mode. So u saying s1-s3 will only control w1 option and not w2 and w3

    On the comparison
    WP25 is from 2650 to almost 7950L/h
Tunze 6095 is from 2,000 to about 9,500l/h

But the Tunze is a wide flow pump. More suited to smaller tanks and not blowing things away directly in front of it. Build to give a wide flow pattern.

The WP25 is a much narrower stream flow. Reaches further feels stronger, but is a much narrower flow pattern. On a 1.2m tank it will reach the other side easily.

Different type of pumps for different setups. The Tunze will work a lot better on nano tanks like a TL550.

Totally agree with you Riaan, Tunze 6095s are awesome pumps and will work great on smaller set ups.

I love my Tunze pumps just need more punch in my size tank

What size is your tank, what do you want to keep, what guarantee does the pump have, what service do you receive after purchase and do the pumps compare with each other, these are questions you should ask yourself before purchase, cheers Anita

Well said Riaan, remember you can go to the 6105 which does have two housings, normal and wide flow.

Love my Wp's have run tunze and now Jeboa and I must say performance wise the Wp's have blown the socks off in my tank. Price was fantastic quality build very good. I run my settings on variable w1.
Back up no issue most reputable suppliers are supplying Jeboa.
