I can't believe it... It's laying eggs for the third time in under a week!!!

I'm willing to donate it to anybody with a tank with fish and you will never have to feed your fish again...

    Any takers?

    Ooh! Me! Me!

I can swap for some other herbivorous breeding snails as I mentioned in your other thread.

I don't think they're self fertilizing, so a single snail may not be sensible. Perhaps I could take some of the larvae instead? That might be more sensible.

The larvae are still microscopic and I'm trying to get rid of the ONE LAYING THE EGGS THE WHOLE TIME... Snails are hermaphrodite so if it likes your tank it will keep laying... I got two nice topshells on Sunday so I don't want to swop... I just want to get rid of this thing before it causes the demise of everything else in my 25l tank...

why, what is wrong with it laying eggs. Most likely never going to hatch anyway. Something to do with the eggs must be exposed to air, in the tide coming in and out.

Or must you scrape the front glass every second day?

    You're thinking Nerites, not Nessarius.

Enjoy, Braco. Let me know if you want to get rid of the offspring.

The first batch has hatched already and my tank is FULL of larvae... I'm worried about die-off seeing as I only have a 25l and they might pollute my water...

I am looking for mexican turbo snails. The lfs might get in this month, not to sure. First time I am going to pay about R50 for a snail, but need them because I got pink cotton candy algae.
