So, after weeks of work my DIY LED unit is mostly done. I still need to mount all the cables and the controller but that is for another day.

The unit consist of 32 LED's (Cree) and is controlled by an Arduino board via 3 mean well dimmable drivers.

I made the housing and support out of Rhodesian Teak. Some photos:

Looks very good, just one recommendation, change your splash guard to 1.2mm pollycarb. Your current splash guard is going to weaken the par and lumen...

I am working on the Ardinuo UNO board for my LED driver too, but with a WiFly board attached, so the UNO is the WEB server and sends HTML5 back to a iPad so a slider control can Dim and brighten the PWM output.
Got mine from Netram in Hillcrest, they even had stock.
Will post code once done if anyone is interested.

    Thanks guys.

Cool, would like to have a look at your code. I'm using the Mega 2560, but with an ethernet board (my access point is close to tank so its cheaper than the wify :p ). The plan is to do the same and to get the time etc from the web...
