Easy enough to mix yourself, if the shop mix it for you make sure its the brand you want and the salinity is correct.

I would go with mix it yourself, like Alan said it's easy and then you have more control over the salinity of your tank. A few critters like nennies like certain salinity levels higher then the normal. By mixing it yourself you get to choose what is the salinity.

Rather mix it yourself. Unless if it works out cheaper to buy "pre mixed" water. And then only if they can accuratly prove the salinity aswell as the quality salt used!!

Just remember to keep some salt and R.O water handy if your salinity fluctuates you can sort it out :)

    Oh and good luck

How big is your tank? Carrying a few kilos of salt and mixing on site will be easier than carrying hundreds of litres of water.

I did a quick cost comparison a while ago. Dorry Pets sells water @ R3.00 per liter, and I got to R2.60 or something mixing myself. IMHO if you buy from a decent shop and they make sure salinity, etc. is right then I'd rather buy water instead of mixing it myself, unless you've got proper space to do it yourself and can be sure your containers won't get contaminated, etc.
