I've been asked by a few to post my wish list of fish i would like to have in my tank in future, so far we have got a yellow damsel who is doing very well. we are looking to purchase another fish for our tank and if all goes well we would like to introduce a third after another 2 weeks.

    Powder blue surgeon
    Emperor angelfish
    cleaner wrasse
    royal gramma
    flame angelfish
    Regal tang
    green chromis
    yellow tang
    psychedelic fish
    common clown
    fire fish
    blue spotted box fish
    domino damsel
    trigger (most suited?)
    Star fish

I know that this list is over exagerated and that they all cant be in the same tank together but it give you all an idea what we would want and you could perhaps tell us which fish are better suited to each other and for a beginner. we would also like to introduce corals in future, someone said we should introduce corals first is this right and if so what corals?

    Hey zuv
That's a long list. How big is your tank. I'd suggest starting of with fish that wont be territorial So wen u adding more fish u wont have any problems wit them been attacked.

Your tank is 1200x600x600 right? Here is what I believe you should not get.
Powder blue surgeon (Tank to small)
Emperor angelfish (Tank to much to small)
    cleaner wrasse (Not recommended)
    Regal tang (Tank to small)
    yellow tang (Tank to small)
    psychedelic fish (Tank to young)

    Hi Moz

    Yes that's the right size.
Shoowee you've just knocked a s load off our list how depressing!:( in one of my other threads about algae it was suggested that i get a tang or two:) to sort out the algae and what they also said was that if there is sufficient circulation then getting one of the above is not to much of an issue. what do you think and i thought a cleaner wrasse was kind of a necessity?

yellow tails are known to become very territorial after some time and the accepted norm is to add these (and other territorial fish) at the end when you have completed your wish list ....
