    Pink Spotted Watchman Goby

    I wanna add a Diamond Back Goby..

    Will the 2 get along?

    The only problem I see is that both are searching for food in the substrate (although they do eat prepared foods- but not always easy to get them to start) and they will eventually starve if there is not enough food for them in the sand.
    Also, is it worth loosing all your critters in your substrate for another Goby??

    I was under the impression that the Diamond Back does not dig as many holes as the Pink Spotted....

    Never had one of these, but just read about it in one of my books and it doesn't look good. Apparently it is one of the more aggressive gobies, adults will often attack other gobies, aggression can escalate to biting and physical harm.

    Might be an idea to do a fair amount of research on this before buying another goby.

    They still do, and Dean is right wrt aggressiveness;)

    Also, a lot of guys on the web complained that they tend to pour sand on their clams

    Ok - No Diamond back for me then... was just looking for something to clean my substrate, and read Diamond back was one of the best at not spitting sand on corals...

    best sand sifter i have ever owned. wont spit sand on any corals and very peaceful.

    can never be to sure with common names, Latin names always helps.
