My two hammers as well as my torch coral have all bleached over the past few days - going from their normal green/purple to a white color, while all the other corals are fine. Could be a temperature issue as my tank has been running really hot these past few days and im struggling top get it down without having a chiller.

Just a theory though. Maybe a more experienced reefer could shed some light.

Hows your tank temp? Have you added new light recently? How are your parameters looking?

Water chem as far as tested is fine eg nitrates fhos and alk is good maintaining 8.5 which i think is perfect so only thing that changed was temp

This makes me think high temp is the issue. Cant be sure though.

    As a solution:

If you dont have a chiller, running a PC fan pointed over the top of your tank or sump so it blows across the water will help reduce the temp. Just note that this will increase evaporation thus consume more RO topup. Im doing the same to my tank this afternoon.

Another quick option is to freeze water bottles and then float them in the sump. This isnt ideal but it works as a quick temporary fix until you can sort out a proper temp control method.

High temp can definitely be a cause of coral bleaching, it's one of the factors that causes bleaching on the coral reefs around the world.

    That should definitely help.
If you can keep your parameters within range and stable then the colour will come back.
