My better half loves feeding the fish and even the lions will not eat hake from me but will devour it if she feeds ... the Nemmies as well seem to get a sudden growth spurt if she feeds them but if I give them the same proportions they just like eat and don't grow ..... Only there is another facelift if I try to make an indoor swimming pool ..... But yeah even helps me clean the skimmer cup once or twice .... But then I also help with her African Grey lead a VERY comfortable life ... sometimes I think better than ours

My fiance takes as much interest in the tank as I do... She can spend hours staring at all the creatures and goes to the LFS with me...

A guy that studied nature conservation with me did a study on fishing and found that woman catch more fish. Apparently they exude some kind of hormone through their skin that then transfers from their hands to the bait and fish go gaga for it... Probably why everything eats better...

My wife has no interest at all, but i must tell a story here. I was out of town a few weeks ago and she phoned to tell me the return pumps were making an awful noise. So i explained what to do and that the sump may have run slightly dry. So she added the ro water and was then doing something over the sump, now leaning completely over the sump when the main return feed pipe parted company with the pump. Bearing in mind there is only about 15cm of water above the pump and the pump is a 5500L sicci pump and has a rating of 4m head height. The next phone call i got she told me where to stick my hobby, amongst much spluttering and coughing.

The entrance to my place is pretty much in the dining room. Where the tank is.

She walks in and out through the same room EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I think she first noticed the 1.5M long and 2M high tank (on stands obviously) the first time I flooded the the house almost 2 weeks after I got it.. Or that's the first time she mentioned it anyway... :whistling:

Still trying to figure out if she couldn't bother to say anything, or if she's partially blind. Hopefully she'll take some interest when I start stocking.
