Who left the freezer door open!!!

    Well it's very very cold today in sunny JHB!!

    Heaters are working over time! lets hope no power outs today!

    21 degrees in Richards Bay. We all wearing Jeans and thick Jackets. Have not been this cold in a long time. Glad I am not in Joburg-Any colder than today in Richards Bay is torture :(

    Never, I cannot even handle the 21 degrees here, let alone anything colder

    Thats not cold! I keep my part of the house at 22. I'm in shorts and tank top.

    Coldest we see is about 19 to 20 degrees I suppose. Warmest is about 48 - 50 degrees:thumbup:

    I know of places in South Africa that goes down to about minus 05 degrees _ I think:(

    ive been caught on the summit in the berg at -15 which wasn't a whole lot of fun.

    haha :) south africa has quite a varied climate - here on the natal coast if it gets below 15 we will call it a severe winter. however there are places inland on the plateau where it snows regularly, and freezing temps are the norm in winter.

    btw anemone, if you're in chicago it should be 02h10 there right now... what are you doing on masa???

    Besides being nocturnal, waiting for 438 seahorses to finish eating so I can clean up their mess.

    woke up this am to find everything covered in what looked like sleet ... I live in BFN, coldest morning the winter for sure!!!

    I collected around 15 at a time with a turkey baster, placed in a small bowl, counted, wrote down the number, moved them to their new tank, and then collected some more.....Yes, it took a while. The last time I had help from a friend. His job was to write down the number that I called out to him. He fell asleep holding the pen.
