White thing crawling on glass

    Hi Guys

    Does anyone know what this could be, it looks a bit like a snail. i have a video of it moving on the glass. it has 3 tentacles.

    I have no clue.

    The picture isn't that clear. sorry.

    Thank you Weezle, I think it is a nudibranch from what I see on the internet now.

    Definitely a Nudibranch, there is so many different species (alot still being discovered every day) and they are very specific eaters. Some are ok but most is not reef safe as they can eat corals etc. Mostly in a tank if they ate all of their food source they die.

    You get some good Nudibranch and some nasty Nudibranch,

    I would sump it until you can get a proper ID on it, specially if you have coral.

    But if you feel it's not harming your coral you can leave it in your DT.

    From what I can tell you this is definitely a ZOA eating nudibranch get rid of it now

    No way, what about the Lettuce nudi, Elysia something, that chows Bryopsis? :D:D:D

    But generally yes, if you find a nudi in your tank it is best to get rid of it as 99% of them are classed as being bad for our tanks.

    that is what i said !!!! i have had a battle with them for more than a year now and lost about 50 differant colours of zoas only thing that helped was a six line wrasse
