Catch them QT them, copper them, and thats it. There are no other way. Do it soon otherwise your fish will be dearly departed.

Make sure it's white spot though.

Bud it's a touchy debate but I prefer to leave them in the tank and treat the whole tank and chasing everything around with net may just put more stress on the fish, feed garlic infused foods like the nori and get them a good vitiman and Metronidazole.

Hi, has your white spot cleared? My dory has it and I am battling to get him to take the medicine. It is so bad that it actually looks as if he is covered in cotton wool.:(

I agree with Pendragon, stress is white spots best friend. Try get some enriched food that will boost their immune systems. In my opinion.

soak your pellets and flakes for the morning feed in few drops of myaxzin and blend focus and metronidazole with your frozen food in the evening......do this for 5 days

Sad to hear that. 5 parts focus to 1 part metro. Add tank water and shake till it looks like smooth vanilla milkshake :)

I agree. I tried the dosing in tank thing with metronidazole and ended up with a tank crash costing me 30 000 losses in stock. My survivors come out of quarintine and tank will have been fallow for three months on 27 feb and hopefully I dont see whitespot for a while

If you treat fish through feeding all you are doing is assisting one fish for a short period but totally fooling yourself. If the spots dissappear off a fish all it means is white spot has moved into reproductive phase and will be back with all its buddies upto a month later. Riaanp has the right idea quarintine everything before letting it into your tank. By quarintine I mean treat to get rid of white spot and at the same time get fish feeding on what you intend to feed and when fish is eating well and is well conditioned then only add it to your tank. Ps two fish I dont believe this applies to are scooter blennies and mandarins.

Just cos you dose the fish doesnt mean the whitespot in the tank is gonna commit suicide out of sympathy. Treatment needs to be holistic in approach.
