    hi guys

i lost about 4 fish because of white spots, my tank was about 3 weeks when i started adding fish, i now know that this was very early and i also had a problem with the water temp which i now control and that is stable,

there is one more cromis in the tank and i think that he has also got the white spots,

i have added soft corals in my tank because im afraid off putting more fish

what must i do, can i treat the one cromis for the white spots but i dont want to kill my corals in the process,

when can i start adding more fish, the tank is now 6 weeks old and the water is good. (i test every monday at northlands)

please help i dont want to kill any more fish.

You should not add any fish for about six weeks and I would suggest you feed your current fish about four or five times a day with small meals

Having done something similar in the past I wouldn't recommend adding more fish for another six weeks. Did you quarantine your fish when you got them? If No, then this might be the source of the ich (white spots). As for treating the tank, you have a chromis, these are usually strong fish and will not easily die, i would say instead of buying meds rather buy garlic guard and soak the food into the garlic before feeding the fiish..

Agree, I put garlic with my frozen food daily!

I also feed Nori once a day. Every second day I soak the seaweed in garlic.
