    Hi fellow forumers

I found these white spots on the glass a couple of days ago. They are quite hard, and form a bit of a lump. They are approx 2.5mm in diameter. they only appeared after I introduced some snails nearly a week ago.

Two of my hermits have also moulted at nearly the same time these things started to show up. Since then I have also found some one some LR.

A routine water change has been done today as well, the powerhead is just to help me dust off my zoas during the process.

Any ideas what it could be?

    Cheers
    Adam

Nice. Got them from @RiaanP. Think they are Nerites snails or something... they come out the front door, not the side door... Do I have any hope of raising them?

If it is snail eggs and you dont have any fish, they will survive but you say you have hermits. Some might survive and some not. When they hatch they'll drop to safety in the sand.

    Yes Adam, Nerita eggs.

They do not normally hatch in our aquariums. Something to do with being exposed at low tide. And we do not have that in our tanks.

Normally I remove them when I do clean my front glass. Those on the back panels I leave alone.

I do! but only once a week when doing water changes lol. Thanks @RiaanP, could this be an indicator of a healthy system or will the Nerita's lay eggs regardless?

and then again, they could have done that deed when they were still in my tank. Not sure about their "gestation" period.
